How do I fix my laptop?

Vista is having problems. they released a patch which your computer automatically downloads if it is connected to the coumpter. so you have to reinstall it and if you have XP i would try that. and you should know that you can retrive any files on the computer if you have important files then take out hard drive and hook to another computer.
