Anyone wnat to help......?

Hi, i really want a boyfriend. But no guys ever seem to like me. Im shy and emo. I dont cut and im not depressed all the time. Im mostly get upset coz i dont have a boyfriend. Im 17. I cant join any clubs as im really shy and people will prob laugh at me. I like my best guy mate and i told him and all he said was "oh". He doesnt like me though as he told me. Any advice?
