Does temperature affect face shape?

I'm not trying to be racist but i always wondered why most East Asians have widespread eyes, big forehead, and straight silky black hair. And why do most black people have short curly hair with wide noise. Racial groups have different structure and face make-up. Besides genetic does temperature affect face mae-up? Again I'm not trying to be racist i'm just wondering because my teacher mentioned that, if our ancestors came from cold region you had ligh skin and hair if your ancestors came from hot tropical region you had dark skin and hair. If temp affects skin color does it affect overall face shape. Not trying to be racist
